To answer this question of public curiosity from an astrological point of view our “New Vedic Astrology and Vastu (Feng Shui) Centre” at Brampton (Canada) have made an analytical study of the following horoscopes;
i) Indian Independence, 15th August, 1947
ii) Mr.Narinder Modi 17th September, 1950
iii) Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), 6th April 1980
iv) Smt.Sonia Gandhi, 9th December, 1964
v) Indian National Congress Party, 22nd November, 1969
vi) Sh.Rahul Gandhi, 19th June, 1970
vii) Swearing-in of Narendra Modi, 26th May, 2014.
In the horoscope of Indian Independence Jupiter Bhukti of Moon Dasa is from August 11, 2018 to December 10, 2019. This covers the general elections period. The moon is strongly placed in the 3rd house.
The Bhukti lord Jupiter is not so well placed. Both moon and Jupiter are in mutual Kendra.
People are likely to get confused. They may fail to give a clear majority verdict in favour of any political party. Instability will prevail. The Government is likely to face hurdles and setbacks. Women would have great influence over the administrative set up.
The horoscope of Mr.Modi show that during election time i.e. Sept. 12, 2018 to Feb. 8, 2020, he will be in Moon Dasa Mercury Bhukti.
Since Mercury is retrograde close to the Sun. So this cannot be a comfortable period for him. There would be threat to his life. He may even face public humiliation during this period.
The horoscope of B.J.P. indicate that Bhukti Lord Mars is the 6th and 11th lord placed in the 3rd house. The moon is debilitated and drives Neech Bhanga strength due to his sign depositor Mars being in a Kendra from the moon.
Thus, the B.J.P. is likely to concede some of its strongholds to its opponents. Eve a split in the B.J.P. after elections is not ruled out.
The horoscope of Swearing-in of Mr.Modi on May 26, 2014 show that 4th lord is in the ascendant. It gives a strong indication that Mr.Modi may give up his seat after the elections.
Moreover, the period from January 19, 2019 to May 4, 2019 comes under Ketu. Its sign depositor Mars is in the 12th house. It again indicates that Mr.Modi may not continue as the next Prime Minister of India.
The horoscope of Congress party show that it is in Rahu Dasa. Mercury Bhukti is from April 20, 2018 to September 11, 2020. Rahu is strongly placed in the 3rd house in the Nakshtra of Ascendant lord Jupiter.
Rahu’s sign depositor Saturn is in the 5th house with the moon. Here Rahu is akin to Saturn. Mahagathbandhan is the result of Saturn with moon placed in the 5th house.
The Congress party with its allies is likely to demolish the indispensability and upper hand of the B.J.P. But Congress and its allies may not be able to get majority in the Lok Sabha elections.
The horoscope of Mr.Rahul Gandhi show that Sun Bhukti will be on during the election (Feb. 18, 2019 to January 26, 2020). Both Mars and the Sun are in the 11th house.
The sun is in the nakshtra of Mars and Mars is that of Rahu. This sun Mars combination is expected by debilitated Saturn.
Large numbers of people are likely to support Mr. Rahul Gandhi. He will win more seats for the Congress party than there are at present.
But the 10th lord in the 12th house is likely to make the prime-minister ship inaccessible for him.
The horoscope of Smt. Sonia Gandhi show that 5th lord is Mars and he is in Sagittarius. Mars is expected by waxing moon. Moon as the 8th lord is malefic. The ruler of Virgo mercury is in the 12th with an eclipsed Sun. These and other factors are indicative of the fact that the son (Rahul Gandhi) of Smt. Sonia Gandhi is not likely to become the Prime Minister of India.
From the above it may safely be concluded:
That coming period may not augur well for the country and it’s Government. Instability will prevail.
That possibilities of Mr.Modi continuing as Prime Minister are though remote but are not as bleak.
There seems to be no possibility of Mr. Rahul Gandhi becoming the next Prime Minister.
There may be surprise pick up for the office of Prime Minister Ship.
