Non-Operation Of Kalasarp Yoga
Rahu and Ketu are known as serpent planets. Ketu represents past
and Rahu represents future. So together they complete the circle of time
which envelops all of us.
When all planets are hemmed in between Rahu and Ketu, there is the
formation of Kalasarpa yoga. No planet should be in conjunction with Rahu
or Ketu. Rahu must be a head of ascendant and Ketu behind it.
There are many misconception attached to this yoga. It is generally
believed that if actually Kalasrapa yoga or similar malefic yoga like Sakata
yoga, Kemadruma yoga etc. operate in a horoscope, such a native should
never be able to rise in life.
But there is an exception to this general rule. This exception is
required to be kept in mind by the astrologers while making any prediction
of any native in whose horoscope Kalasrapa yoga is formed.
It is correct that when all the planets are hemmed in between Rahu
and Ketu, though technically Kalasrapa yoga is formed but when Ketu
remain in one of the first signs then there is not only no Kalasrapa yoga,
but actually it leads to the condition for the yoga’s cancellation.
As a result of this cancellation, this veritable adverse influence gets
transformed into a powerful Raj yoga. Then in such a situation, such a
combination should not even be called a Kalasrapa yoga.
In auspicious combination existed in the horoscope of Pandit
Jawahar Lal Nehru, first Prime Minister of India, but he did not suffer much
because of other favourable planetary combinations.
Thus, this office strongly believe that certain reasons for non-
operation of Kalasrapa yoga cannot be wiped out so very easily by saying
that it gets nullified by the presence of benefic planetary influences.
Thus, in the horoscope of pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, it is not
Kalasrapa yoga with other astrological combinations that helped him to rise
in life. The reason for his becoming highly placed in life was due to the
presence of Kalasrapa yoga with cancellation.
